Gravel bikeraft & Coffee, The Old City of Ghent
September 18 @ 09:00 - 17:00€70.00
Bikerafting is a new sport where you take a Packraft* with you during your cycling adventure.
After a nice breakfast we leave at Cup in Ghent, the gravel ride prior to our boat trip through the beautiful heart of Ghent. will walk on beautiful gravel roads, where we can cycle together and a sturdy racing bike tire will not get you in trouble. Of course MTBs are also welcome.
Once we have arrived at the kajack berth of the Blaarmeersen, we will start a difficult task, according to Bart Der Lokomotiv, of blowing up the boat. But, we can do it!
During this process a picnic will be provided, so Bart will have enough time to blow up his boat.
Once the Bikes are securely tied to the boats. we continue our adventure on the water, along green banks to the old town. The 10 km long journey will lead us along the Graslei to the Gravensteen. We then return to cup behind the Opera and past the modernistic Krook. With a bit of luck, the scenes of ‘The Lamb of God’ will still be in the tunnel that will bring us to the Reep.
After drying the boats, we give them in good hands with Kim and we drink another coffee at Cup.
Count on at least 6 to 7 hours for this pleasant adventure in and around Ghent.
